Newton was a badly abused, nearly starved to death rescued dog. Despite being thrown from a speeding van and rescued by a family who saw it happen, he is a miracle dog. The family that rescued him said he was so starved and near death he couldn't even drink water on his own. They took him to Planned Pethood, who cared for him for nearly 4 months, where he underwent surgery to remove his embedded collar, numerous medical treatments for Mange and severe starvation and malnurishment. He later lost most of his hair and still only weighed 23 lbs after 4 months of care. When I took him home he was still skin and bones, where you could count every rib and bone in his spine. Even having went through all of that, he is the world's sweetest dog. I thought I was saving him and giving him a life, but he has saved me and enriched my life beyond words. He is pure love and full of joy. He is my angel and gift from God, a true blessing. He loves everyone and everything with all of his heart and holds nothing back in showing his love and affection. He has changed my life forever.
